IMPORTANT: Our aquarium plants may vary in growth forms. Because of this, please understand how to properly transition and acclimate plant(s) into desired form(s). We do our best to thoroughly clean and inspect all plants prior to shipment but cannot guarantee lead bunch or potted plants to be free from snails and/or algae. Not your thing? Please consider purchasing tissue culture aquarium plants!

Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

LIVE PLANTS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO STRESS AND DAMAGE FROM TRANSIT - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Bucephalandra Grayline is an interesting buce species. Appearance wise, Bucephalandra Grayline looks like a hybrid of Buce Skeleton King and Buce Silver Stein. This aquarium plant features oval-shaped leaves with slightly waved edges. Grayline's color varies and ranges from deep green hues to bronze and reddish tones depending on the conditions of the aquarium. Bucephalandra Grayline can be considered a medium-sized specimen and is suitable for a range of tank sizes. Like other Bucephalandra species, Bucephalandra Grayline is epiphytic and can be attached to aquarium driftwood or within the gaps of an aquascape layout. This aquarium plant will also work well in emersed conditons that provide sufficient humidity such as terrariums or vivariums. Because Bucephalandra is relatively hardy, it is commonly touted as a great beginner plant. While Buce will tolerate a range of conditions, growth and color can be poor if neglect is present or parameters are not ideal.

Bucephalandra Grayline is versatile with placement and will grow well when attached to aquarium hardscape such as aquascaping stones and aquarium driftwood. Bucephalandra prefers low to medium lighting, substantial flow and grows nice and dense if favorable conditions are provided. While CO2 injection is not required, we recommend it when possible to produce quicker growth and lovely coloration that Bucephalandra is known for. Bucephalandra stems and rhizomes should not be covered when planting and over-gluing of roots will be extremely detrimental to growth and survival.
