The Ultum Nature Systems DELTA Mini Surface Skimmer is a handy piece of aquarium equipment to keep in the planted aquarium tank enthusiast's cabinet. Simple to install, a surface skimmer is responsible for removing and reducing the unwanted surface film that builds up naturally in any aquarium. Keeping an aquarium's water surface clean allows for the important exchange of air and with a submersible outlet, reduces the loss and waste of CO2 in a planted aquarium. The Delta Mini surface skimmer offers a simple design and is made from durable materials. The surface skimmer is recommended for planted aquarium tanks ranging from 8 to 48 gallons and can also be used on marine, coral and saltwater reef aquariums safely. Alternatively, for aquarium tanks smaller than 8 gallons, Delta Mini can be used as a full-on replacement for a traditional hang-on back aquarium filter!
