OVERVIEW

The Badlands replaced our previous Nature Style Ultum Nature Systems 45U aquarium tank, Green Haven. Select pieces of Icelandic Lava Stone were strategically placed on steeply sloped aquarium soil and finished with sand in between for a Brazilian Style Iwagumi planted aquarium tank. This aquascaping style typically calls for aquatic stem plants rather than a mimimal amount of aquatic plants found in a traditional Iwagumi planted tank. With this in mind, several aquarium plant species were chosen to complement both the aquascape layout and aquarium tank size.
