Maintenance:
OVERVIEW
A perfect Betta Fish tank. The client wanted an underwater tree-like setup that would also be low maintenance as she had never owned or cared for a planted aquarium tank. This setup is a great example for those who would like an easy setup but also have a limited budget. Because the tank was on the smaller side, it would have been very difficult to fit a small piece of wood appropriately to resemble a tree. We took this vision and altered it slightly by concentrating on what would be the “roots” of the tree. We boiled three Manzanita Wood twigs and inserted the branchy sides downward. This created the twisted root look and it was finished off with low maintenance plants to fill in any unnatural looking parts. The finished look not only provided a unique looking Betta aquarium but as had plenty of shaded areas for the fish to rest under and feel safe.CARE
