OVERVIEW

Our first Ultum Nature Systems Foresta 60E Integrated Paludarium features a layout built around a unique piece of Malaysian Driftwood we’ve held onto for years. Its hollow, tree trunk-like form—full of natural crevices and openings—offered the perfect foundation to blur the line between land and water.

Mist from the included UNS Atomizer drifts through the wood’s interior, creating movement and highlighting its rich textures. We chose aquatic plants that will gradually adapt to life above the waterline, evolving into their emergent forms over time.

As the scape matures, we imagine moss and foliage slowly overtaking the hardscape and bringing the hollow trunk back to life.
