OVERVIEW

We scaped an Ultum Nature Systems 75S shallow aquarium using large pieces of aquarium driftwood and aquarium stones. The final layout is hardscape heavy with exaggerated, sharp features. A mixture of marginal plants were added to create a forest scene and much needed color to the setup. Designed to be a hybridized setup capable of supporting both aquatic species and terrestrials, the filtration was customized to provide sufficient moisture to all areas of the tank without sacrificing flow in the lower levels of the aquarium. We've also installed an Ultum Nature Systems Mist Maker Set to increase humidity for the plants located above the waterline. Cosmetic sand will be added in the future once the aquarium establishes, allowing us to avoid additional cleaning during the initial stages of setup.
