This algae brush features coarse, durable bristles that are effective in removing stubborn algae from aquarium driftwood and stones. While it can be used for all types of algae, the algae brush is especially effective in removing difficult types such as Black Beard Algae or Staghorn algae. Once removed, siphon it out and keep maintaining the tank to improve results.


TIP: Clean and dry the algae brush completely in between uses to avoid cross contamination between multiple tanks. This will also increase product longevity!

"This is a great little tool for keeping algae growth down. I was disappointed, though, with the length of the tool; somehow I thought it would be longer or be able to telescope out longer to make it easier to clean the algae at the bottom of my aquarium. I wound up putting a chop stick into the opening of the handle to make the tool longer and more efficient to use in my betta’s tank."
