Anubias White Rose is a rarity in the planted aquarium hobby! This species of Anubias features fully white-creamish foliage that pops brighter than other variegated forms of Anubias more commonly known to the hobby. Because of Anubias White Rose's rarity, there is limited information available about this particular plant and it likely makes the wishlist for many rare aquarium plant collectors.
Another trait that makes Anubias White Rose highly-coveted is its growth pattern. This aquarium plant has another mutation that causes it to produce smaller foliage that grows fairly compact and similar to a rose, earning its name. Care is comparable to other species of variegated Anubias and as long as you have experience caring for more finicky Anubias varieties, you should do just fine! Like other Anubias, Anubias White Rose is a great midground aquarium plant. It is epiphytic and will grow well when attached to aquarium driftwood or stones. Anubias are slow growers and will benefit from regular fertilization, CO2 injection and good aquarium maintenance habits. Additional care should be taken as its leaves are susceptible to algae growth when placed under too high lighting. CO2 is optional, but recommended as it will help encourage faster growth and robust leaves.

Aquarium plants can vary in growth form and may require time to transition to your aquarium environment, whether grown submerged or emersed. This transition period is a natural part of establishing healthy, long-term growth in planted aquariums.
From carpeting plants in the foreground to stem plants and larger species used in the midground or background, each plant offers a unique contribution to a balanced and natural aquascape. As plants adapt, it is normal to see minor changes such as leaf melt, color shifts, or new growth patterns as they settle into their new conditions.
We carefully inspect and prepare all live aquatic plants prior to shipping. While we do our best to minimize hitchhikers, we cannot guarantee plants to be completely pest or snail-free unless tissue culture options are selected.
Because live plants are perishable, some signs of transit stress may occur, including leaf loss or cosmetic damage. These are typically temporary and when when healthy roots are present, most plants will recover with proper care.

Rhizome plants are known for their durability and unique growth structure, making them a popular choice for both beginner and experienced aquascapers. Instead of being planted directly into the substrate, these plants grow from a horizontal rhizome that should be attached to hardscape such as driftwood or stone.
Burying the rhizome can lead to rot, so it is best to secure the plant using thread, glue, or by gently wedging it into place. Over time, the roots will naturally attach to the surface as the plant continues to grow and spread.
Rhizome plants are generally slow-growing and require minimal maintenance, making them ideal for low-tech aquariums. Their sturdy leaves and gradual growth provide long-term stability and are often used to create detailed focal points or anchor hardscape within a layout.
Common examples include Anubias, Bucephalandra, and Java Fern, all loved for their resilience and easy care.

"Arrived in timely manner and great shape!"
"I was very concerned about ordering a high-value tissue culture that had to be delivered. The original cup was saran wrapped at the edges and then wrapped with bubble wrap before being put into a shipping box, so it was well protected. As I unwrapped it, I noticed most of the gel had already disappeared, but the annubias itself looked great. Maybe a little smaller than pictured, but it was all healthy and in nice clusters which were easy to glue and attach. Everything looked healthy and my goodness, it feels like I put down a lei in the tank. Enjoy it, its worth the purchase."
