Neo Media by Aquario is a high-quality filter media that is constructed at high temperatures with natural materials sourced in Korea. Using advanced technology, Aquario's Neo Media provides fine, yet unobstructed large pores within the filter medium allowing a variety of beneficial bacteria to live and thrive. The generous space aids in smooth water flow and allows sufficient nutrients and oxygen to reach beneficial aquarium bacteria. This results in a thriving bacterial ecosystem inside of the Neo Media, keeping filtration cycles stable through thorough filtration and media longevity. Neo Media by Aquario goes through a grueling 5 step manufacturer process in order to produce high-quality aquarium tank filter media and is available in three different forms, making it suitable for any aquarium tank.

HOW TO USE:

  • Gently rinse with clean water 2-3 times.
  • Do NOT wash excessively.
  • PH changes can vary depending upon water source and objects inside the tank.
  • NEO Media requires routine cleaning as do other filter media.
  • Natural materials used results in varying shape and sizes.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Highly Effective

"Purchased the 5L in Hard as a media replacement for a pair of reef quarantine systems. This media actually buffers, increasing my baseline pH by . 2 in a 1300 PPM CO2 room. I will be using it in the future on all other marine systems, as well as its "Soft" version in upcoming freshwater projects."

Media

"Trying something new. The media holds up well. Will see how it works in the tank over time."

Best new Biological Media! Bye Seachem matrix!

"I used Seachem matrix biological media on all my external filters. Eheim and Oase. After doing long research, I replaced it to Aquario Neo Media because: Seachem Matrix 1 Liter = ~700 m2 surface area. Aquario Neo Media 1 liter = 3,200 ㎡ Same quantity of biological media over four and a half times more surface area for biological bacteria to grow on."

Q&A

Is the filter media that comes with my filter the soft one or the hard or the neutral one? I have planted tanks I don’t want them to be harmed by hard water.
I got Neutral one so my water stays the same for my betta and shrimp. It works well so far and it comes with bacteria to put in with the media. You should test your water first. If your ph kh gh is too high like over 8+, you will need the soft one. If your ph water levels around 6-7, neutral is good. If your water so soft and need high ph or for salty saltwater aquarium, you might need hard media. I’ve been using this for 8 months so far, my water has been balance with uns Controsoil and dechlorinated tap water.
