Bacopa Salzmannii Purple, sometimes known as Bacopa Araguaia or Bacopa Purple, is a beautiful variation of Bacopa for planted aquaria. Depending on aquarium conditions, Bacopa Salzmannii Purple has the potential to produce a unique color palette that includes shades of pink, violets and purple tones. Bacopa Purple, like other forms of Bacopa, is also suitable for emersed growth and will work great in terrariums, vivariums and paludariums. It should be noted that its emersed form typically remains green and submerged aquarium conditions are required to obtain vibrant purple notes.

Bacopa Salzmannii Purple should be grown by hobbyists who have some experience keeping aquatic plants the require CO2 and nutrient dosing schedule. We also recommend a nutritious aquarium substrate to properly support healthy growth. When grown successfully, Bacopa Purple is an eye catcher in the planted tank. The plant can be easily propagated by trimming along the stem and replanting into the soil.
