When used with a pH reagent solution, the solution changes colors to indicate whether there is an excessive, optimal, or insufficient amount of CO2 being injected into the planted aquarium. Using a CO2 drop checker offers an extremely simple method for monitoring CO2 levels in the planted tank. It's a great help for those who are new to CO2 injection, a good reminder to refill your CO2 cylinder and fantastic for any aquarist that is keeping aquatic plants with specific requirements. Taking care to make sure levels are stable also ensures the health of aquatic plants and livelihood of fish and shrimp.
