Echinodorus Hadi Red Pearl

Echinodorus Hadi Red Pearl is a beautiful Amazon Sword variety, easily recognized by broad green leaves that are highlighted with reddish-pink hues. This aquatic plant is a great choice for adding subtle color to low tech planted tanks. Alternatively, sword plants are great focal plant choices for Wabi Kusa setups.

Amazon Sword plants are a top choice for beginner aquascapers thanks to their easy care and adaptability. Hadi Red Pearl is considered one of the smaller species within the Echinodorus family, but like most in this group, it still grows significantly larger than many other aquarium plants. We recommend these plants for aquariums that offer plenty of room for healthy development. Aquarium sword plants grow best in nutrient-rich substrate, as they primarily absorb nutrients through their root systems. Support optimal growth with CO2 injection and a liquid plant fertilizer or root tabs that contain both macro and micronutrients. Propagating amazon sword plants can be done by gently separating plantlets from the mother and replanting into the soil!
