Echinodorous Python is a lesser known variation of Amazon Sword in the planted tank hobby. When grown underwater, E. Python stays relatively small when compared to other species of Echinodorus making it suitable for medium to large aquariums. New growth is typically a brownish-red tone and slowly changes to olive-green as the plant matures. Echinodorus Python's emersed form tends to be larger with green foliage that remains stable without markings. Like other Echinodorus plants, we recommend a nutrient-dense aquarium substrate and good lighting. CO2 injection isn't necessary, but will aid in promoting quicker growth and improved health.

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.
