The curved scissors make it easy to get under rocks/hardscape or to trim at weird angles. The forceps are sturdy and easy to use. The grip at the tips holds plants well without tearing or crushing. Overall very impressed with this set. I drying off immediately after using, but I have not noticed any wear or rusting from basic use (I trim my tanks weekly due to pearlweed taking over lol)."

"Good price for this set considering each tool is $40-$50 separately. I really just bought it for the scissors and they are good quality. The black coating, like all coatings, does come off if you scratch it though."

Great tools

"These are really nice tools. The scissors are smooth as well as sharp for good clean cuts. The pinsettes are thin enough to not offer too much spring resistance but sturdy enough to hold onto plants and root tabs. Others have more spring tension, which can be irritating when planting smaller plants. The black finish is really nice on them."

Attractive, durable, not perfect

"I first off have to say that my experience with Glass aqua has been phenomenal. As far as the scissors are concerned.... They seem durable, but they are not as sharp as i expected towards the tips. Thicker foliage seems to smash rather than slice. As well, the scissors are not completely dissassembled when recieving the coating which can be very unsightly, especially if you film videos. All tools feel good in the hand but time will tell... they recieve a little under 4 stars, but the customer service definitely adds a star."
