Manten Stone is a beautiful aquarium hardscape. Characterized by rugged texture and a varying natural color palette, Manten Stone is a highly-coveted aquarium hardscape rock that is commonly used in Iwagumi style aquascape layouts and miniature mountainous hardscape layouts. Manten Stone can also be used beautifully in classic nature style aquariums as an accent or to support aquarium driftwood pieces.

Manten Stone's realistic and unpredictable features are valued immensely by modern-day aquascapers as its notorious inconsistency is the key feature for producing realistic scenes in a planted aquarium tank. Hailing from high elevation mountainsides, Manten Stone is typically recognized as inert. This means that it will not impact water chemistry and is a safe choice for even sensitive freshwater aquatic life. Even so, we always encourage that water is tested and stones are cleansed thoroughly to ensure safe practices.

With its varying color tones and unique form, Manten Stone makes for a perfect main hardscape choice or as an accent to any planted aquarium tank. When placed under quality aquarium LED lighting, this stone really shows off its colors and is a treat to see for all aquarists.
