Microsorum Pteropus Black Forest or Java Fern Black Forest is a relatively new and unique Java Fern in the planted aquarium hobby. The main highlights of this Java Fern are its bold leaf vein pattern and slender shape. These attractive features make Java Fern Black Forest a highly sought after choice for those looking for a unique midground rhizome aquarium plant. Just like any Java Fern, the care for this aquarium plant is just as easy and undemanding.
This aquatic plant can be attached directly onto aquarium driftwood, aquascaping rocks, or any aquarium decoration using thread or glue. Make sure to keep the rhizomes above the aquarium substrate or the plant can begin to rot. Propagation is easy and straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be replanted/reattached.
