READ ME: Our aquarium plants vary in growth forms and will require time to transition to submerged or emersed conditions. We do our best to clean and inspect all plants prior to shipping but do not guarantee them to be snail free unless tissue culture is purchased.
Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.
Live plants are susceptible to stress and damage from transit. - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Microsorum Pteropus 'Windelov', more commonly known as simply Java Fern Windelov, is a popular variation for planted aquariums and aquascaping. This aquatic fern is often picked by beginner aquarists thanks to its easy care and bold green color. This family of plants are very versatile, provide great coverage, fill empty space in layouts well, and can handle considerable amounts of neglect. Its versatility makes it suitable for aquariums, terrariums, vivariums, and paludariums. Windelov is easily recognized for its split ends and bushy appearance.
Java Fern plants are epiphytic and will grow happily when attached to aquarium driftwood, aquascaping stones, or any aquarium decor. We recommend providing it with clean water, low to medium lighting, and good flow for starters. A quality aquatic plant fertilizer paired with CO2 injection will be beneficial in the long run and can help promote quicker, bushier growth. Propagation is easy and straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be replanted/reattached.
