SL Aqua's Z3 BBA Remover is a freshwater aquarium tank treatment that aims to rid planted aquariums of pesky BBA. BBA, commonly known as black beard algae or black brush algae, is a stubborn form of algae that typically attaches to everything in a planted tank from aquarium plant leaves to hardscape material such as driftwood and stones. SL Aqua Z3 BBA Remover aims to remove this unsightly algae by simultaneously slowing down reproduction and killing spores. Z3 BBA Remover may also be used on other strains of algae commonly found in planted aquariums such as filamentous algae, blue algae and brown algae. When used correctly, Z3 BBA Remover will not harm aquatic plants or tropical fish inhabitants.
We recommend using Z3 BBA Remover by SL Aqua in combination with good aquarium tank cleaning practices!
- Treatment cycles last 2 weeks. Add 2 drops for every 25L/6.6G of water once, daily. Do not change water or perform aquarium tank maintenance during this time.
- Algae will begin turning white. This is a sign the treatment is working! Complete a 30% water change weekly, minimum. Once the 2 week period is up, add the recommended dose once, weekly or as necessary for precautionary use.
- Do not use Z3 BBA Remover in an aquarium that contains invertebrates or snails.
- Recommended for freshwater use only.

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.

Hard goods can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to its nature, we are unable to accept returns for live plants. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied in any way, please contact us ASAP. We provide 100% DOA (Dead On Arrival) protection.
To be eligible for a refund/store credit, please contact us within 12 hours of receiving it and provide a photo of the item in its original packaging.
