The Ultum Nature Systems Dual All-In-One Refugium is a specialized housing unit designed to convert the rear chamber of the Ultum Nature Systems Dual AIO aquarium into a refugium, enabling the cultivation of Chaetomorpha and other macroalgae for natural nutrient export. Refugiums are an optional but beneficial addition to saltwater aquariums as they improve filtration and promote biodiversity by providing a safe, protected habitat where copepods, amphipods, and other beneficial microfauna can thrive.

The UNS Refugium is simple to install and is securely held in place with an adjustable clamp. Its unique design includes a space to install the UNS Refugium Light to ensure optimal growing conditions, while its opaque construction prevents light from spilling into the main aquarium display, maintaining a balanced lighting environment.
