Vesicularia Dubyana, better known as Java Moss is one of the most common aquatic mosses available. Characterized by its deep green color and thin fronds, Java Moss is a classic moss choice in planted aquaria. Like other moss varieties, Java Moss is hardy, adaptable and very forgiving of many water conditions. Java Moss provides excellent shade and coverage for freshwater shrimp and fish and is versatile with placement. It can be attached to hardscape material to create tree-like structures, cover unnatural cuts, simply left free floating or placed in the foreground. This listing includes Java Moss pre-attached to aquarium-safe stainless steel mesh. Remove it and replant or keep it conveniently attached if using to cover the foreground area!
