Homalomena Humilis is part of a rare family of flowering aquatic plants within the same realm as Bucephalandra. Characterized by thick, waxy leaves, Homalomena Humilis also bears a unique varying color pattern with shades ranging from pink to green that provides a lovely contrast to more common green aquatic plants. Because of its rarity, the likelihood of a local fish store carrying this plant is slim to none. Similar to Buce, Homalomena Humilis is quite easy to care for and can be grown submerged or emersed. Homalomena species don't require excessive aquarium lighting to thrive as it is slow growing and excessive lighting can cause algae growth on its leaves, much like Anubias and Buce. Homalomena is generally found in fast flowing rivers across parts of Asia and South America and can often be found as a common houseplant.

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.

Returns
Hard goods can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to its nature, we are unable to accept returns for live plants. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied in any way, please contact us ASAP. We provide 100% DOA (Dead On Arrival) protection.
To be eligible for a refund/store credit, please contact us within 12 hours of receiving it and provide a photo of the item in its original packaging.
