Microsorum Pteropus Petite
Like other forms of Microsorum Pteropus, Java Fern Mini is highly coveted and loved by aquarists of all skill levels for its bright hues, full appearance, and easy care. Java Ferns are perfect for filling up space in an aquascape layout that is looking a little bare and its epiphytic nature makes it extremely versatile with placement as Java Fern can be tied to aquarium driftwood or aquascaping stones. This aquarium plant's mini size makes it suitable for nano aquarium tanks as a main aquarium plant choice or in larger planted aquarium tanks as an accent aquatic plant.
Make sure to keep the rhizomes above the aquarium substrate or the plant can begin to rot. Propagation is easy and straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be replanted/reattached.
