Homalomena sp. Papua is an exotic, rare tropical plant! Its unique venation and textured foliage make it a welcomed addition to any Aroid collector's or general plant hobbyist's collection. Like other Homalomena species, Homalomena sp. Papua thrives in a well-draining substrate and a humid or greenhouse environment that emulates its natural habitat. Sometimes considered Rheophytes, this variation of Homalomena appreciates, but does not require, flowing water. It is generally undemanding and will adds textural, visual interest to the emersed portion of a paludarium or a closed terrarium.
