Lilaeopsis Mauritiana AKA Micro Sword is a variant similar to Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis that isn't as demanding. This particular aquatic plant can be used to create a grassy underwater lawn or as clumps of bushes in the midground of aquarium tanks. Lilaeopsis Mauritiana is a great choice for beginners who are trying to grow a carpeting plant for the first time.
This plant grows by spreading runners horizontally throughout the substrate. Lighting and CO2 injection are essential in keeping the growth short and compact. Propagation is simple, trim portions from of horizontal shoots and replant.
