OVERVIEW

Currently our longest standing tank. We have the tendency to get itchy and rescape frequently, but this one has been setup for almost a year. We wanted a simple layout with minimal rocks and aquatic plants. The rocks used were Ryuoh Stone which remain our favorite to this date. They were then paired with two staple carpeting plants in the hobby, a trail of sand and we called it a day. We wanted to see the tank grow wild and reduced trimming and as a result, the trail of sand has now dwindled into a tiny resting spot for the livestock. Simple is better sometimes - it all depends on the person.
