Treat algae growth on delicate plants such as aquatic mosses, liverworts (including Riccardia and Riccia), Vallisneria, and newly established plants with APT Fixlite by 2HR Aquarist. Its biodegradable formula is gentle and effective for targeting Black Beard Algae (BBA), BGA, Staghorn, and most hair, fuzz, and string algae.
Each bottle includes a calibrated spot-dosing pipette for easy application to affected areas. When used as directed, APT Fixlite is safe for freshwater fish, shrimp, and sensitive planted aquariums.

Choosing the Right APT Algae Treatment
Choose APT Fixlite if your aquarium contains young plants, mosses, or other species with delicate foliage. APT Fix is ideal for established planted aquariums with hardy or mature aquatic plants, algae growing primarily on hardscape, or more stubborn algae blooms that require a stronger treatment.

Dosing Instructions: Spot dose affected areas. Use up to 1ml per 2.5 Gallons
TIP! Start with targeted spot treatments rather than broad dosing whenever possible. Temporarily turn off filtration during application to maximize contact time before restoring normal water flow. Manual algae removal and routine water changes can help improve long-term results.
