Bucephalandra Cascade King is a medium to large Bucephalandra variation within the Bucephalandra genus. Cascade King Buce offers varying shades pf green and deep purplish-blue color tones and can be grown in aquarium tank settings as well as in emersed conditions such as a terrarium or paludarium setup. It is characterized by its slightly narrower, long, and ruffled-edge leaves. When growing Bucephalandra in a planted aquarium, this aquatic plant is very forgiving and will adapt to a wide range of conditions. However, low to medium aquarium LED light along with CO2 injection helps to produce robust, dense growth along with the varying hues that make Bucephalandra plants extremely coveted and loved.

A suitable aquatic plant for beginning enthusiasts, Bucephalandra is fairly hardy and comparable in care to that of Anubias, Cryptocoryne, Ferns, and Mosses. Bucephalandra comes in many varieties, shapes, colors and looks best when kept in clumps in a planted aquarium tank. Buce Cascade King, like other Buce, is an epiphytic aquarium plant and can grow properly without being planted in aquarium soil. We recommend placing it between gaps in hardscape layouts or tying it to aquascaping stones and aquarium driftwood. Over time, it will self-attach and should be left undisturbed, if possible.
