Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

Eleocharis Belem, better known as Hair Grass, is a classic aquarium plant that has been used in many famous aquascapes. Hair Grass is typically found in the foreground as a carpet, but can be used to create some textural accents along the midground or as desired. Eleocharis Belem features a lower growing profile and is typically easier to contain when compared to other quicker growing hair grass varieties.
Like other forms of Hair Grass, Eleocharis Belem is fairly hardy and will tolerate a wider range of water conditions. However, to support healthy growth, we recommend soft water, CO2 injection and quality nutrition to start. Eleocharis Belem is a great choice for beginner aquascapers and seasoned hobbyists alike!
Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae!Tissue culture aquarium plants are typically juvenile specimen grown in emersed conditions. There may be a transitional period as the plant adapts to submerged conditions. All tissue culture plants contain agar gel that should be cleaned thoroughly prior to use.

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.
Rimless aquariums will be shipped throughout the week via UPS or Fedex Ground. For more information, please visit our FAQ page.
Returns
Hard goods can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to its nature, we are unable to accept returns for live plants. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied in any way, please contact us ASAP. We provide 100% DOA (Dead On Arrival) protection.
To be eligible for a refund/store credit, please contact us within 12 hours of receiving it and provide a photo of the item in its original packaging.
