cool plant
"Love this plant, but still haven't figured out the right conditions for it. It ends up rotting and dying pretty quickly. I have some in my terrarium that is lasting a bit longer, but still not what I'd like."

Hydrocotyle tripartita ‘Mini’, often referred to as Hydrocotyle ‘Japan’, is a popular aquarium plant known for its bright green, clover-shaped foliage and vining growth habit. Originally popularized through nature-style aquascaping by Takashi Amano, it’s widely used for adding texture, shape and color in planted aquariums and terrariums.
This versatile plant can be used in both the foreground and midground, where it spreads through runners to form dense bushes or trailing vines depending on how it’s trimmed. Its signature leaf shape and vibrant green color makes it an excellent choice for softening hardscape edges and filling in negative space with a natural, organic look.
Hydrocotyle tripartita ‘Mini’ is generally undemanding, though sufficient lighting is important to maintain denser growth. In lower light conditions, it tends to grow more vertically, and can become leggy in an attempt to reach more light. With medium to high lighting, CO2 injection, and consistent fertilization, this dainty aquarium plant grows quickly and can become chaotic without regular trimming to maintain shape. Propagation is simple! Snip along the stem and replant into the substrate to encourage branching and fuller plant groups.

"I ordered from this site based off the other reviews and let me tell you! Not only did these plants arrive super happy and healthy, they were able to sit for a little while I finished cycling my tank. I love that you don't have to rush to put these plants in your tank because they are so hardy!"
"Nice size, will order again."
"Very satisfied"
"There is an ever-so-slight melt. I’m talking three leaves. The clover leaves are gorgeous—even better in person! I can't wait to add this to my setup!"
"This is an extremely satisfying plant. I have mine floating near the top and it has lily pad vibes and adds beautiful green color and texture."
"Grown submerged but it is transitioning well."
"Arrived healthy and great. Super happy with the purchase"
"This is another cute little plant. It has really reached itself out of the water and also seem to be propagating itself from its leaves with roots attached. I’m planting them in different locations to help them thrive. Again good quality, no melting doing well. Would highly recommend"
