Ludwigia Arcuata AKA Needle leaf Ludwigia is a beautiful aquarium stem plant with delicate green and red leaves. It is easy to grow and adds movement and dimension to a planted tank. Its leaves are thin and pointed, hence its name, and grow along the entire length of the stem. Coloration is dependent upon water properties and can be improved with CO2 injection, moderate lighting and a liquid plant fertilizer.

Like other stem plants, it can grow very fast when conditions are optimal. Grab a pair of quality aquascaping scissors for regular trimming! We recommend this one for nature style aquascapes, Dutch style aquariums and more. If you're interested in a different growing form, try planting it in a terrarium-like setup! Propagation is easy. Simply cut the stems and replant into quality aquasoil
