Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba is a beautiful aquatic stem plant that is a classic in the planted aquarium hobby. Recognized by its bright hues, Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba features long stems that are densely covered by narrow leaves that range in varying shades. Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba's natural habitat is swamp-like areas and it grows well in submerged and emerged forms. When in its emersed form, this aquatic plant's leaves are a green hue and the aquatic plant produces yellow flowers above the water's surface. When grown in a planted aquarium tank, Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba is amongst one of the easier Ludwigia species to cultivate and keep, but still requires ample care to thrive correctly. When submerged, this aquatic plant displays a marbled appearance consisting of orange and reds on long, thin leaves. In order to obtain bold coloration, Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba needs quality aquarium lighting, CO2 injection, and a nutrient dense aquarium soil. Since this aquatic plant has the potential to grow so large, care should be taken when planting to ensure each stem has ample space to grow and spread sufficiently. Additional nutrients in the form of a quality aquarium plant fertilizer are recommended as well. If optimal conditions are provided, Ludwigia Inclinata Cuba tends to grow at a quick pace.

As this aquatic plant is quite large, we recommend using it within the background of a larger planted aquarium tank. It also has the tendency, like other Ludwigia species, to grow at an angle so this should be taken into consideration when choosing aquatic plants for a ready hardscape layout. Combined with its highly ramified and quick growth, if the aquarium tank is too small, it has the potential to become invasive if left alone.

Propagation is similar to other aquatic stem plant species. Simply cut the stems and replant into quality substrate.
