Mr. Aqua Aquarium Soil was specifically designed for planted aquarium tanks. This substrate is a beneficial proprietary blend, composed of organic and inert ingredients. Mr. Aqua Aquarium Soil will provide all the essential aquatic plant nutrients as well as a stable environment for tropical fish and shrimp. It also features buffering capacities for softening water from 6.6 – 6.8 pH depending on water parameters.
- Long lasting aquatic plant substrate up to 12-18 months.
- Purifies water that is stained from driftwood tannins.
- Stabilizes pH to buffer within 6.6-6.8
- Porous granular structure that is easily penetrated by aquatic plant roots.
How much substrate do I need?
One 10L bag will fill a UNS Standard 60U Glass Aquarium with approximately 2” of substrate
[Tank Length x Tank Depth x Desired Substrate Height (inches)] / 60 = Total liters of Controsoil required

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.

Returns
Hard goods can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to its nature, we are unable to accept returns for live plants. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied in any way, please contact us ASAP. We provide 100% DOA (Dead On Arrival) protection.
To be eligible for a refund/store credit, please contact us within 12 hours of receiving it and provide a photo of the item in its original packaging.
