This variation is rarer of the two known forms with this species featuring red-toned striations and color tones throughout the foliage. In general, Pogostemon Helferi Downoi is distinctive and easily recognized for its unique leaves. Growth is typically compact but can become leggy if lighting levels are insufficient.
