This easy-to-install double-tap valve features compression fittings for fast and secure installation. Once installed, it allows refined flow adjustments to be made on canister filters and powerhead pumps. The quick-release allows for convenient disconnection with minimal to no spillage. "These "quick connects" make tubing and lily-pipe maintenance a breeze! Just swing the shut-off levers to the side, unscrew the knurled central fitting and voila! The lily pipes are detached from the filter and ready for cleaning. Installing the connectors is as easy as cutting the tubing, slipping the tubing onto the connector and twisting the plastic nut outward to clamp the tubing firmly in place."

"In case you didn’t know, as I didn’t, you’ll need a check valve on the tubing as close as you can get it to the diffuser. Even if there’s one on your reactor. Way easier for water to enter the tubing in this setup than with an in tank ceramic diffuser. Maybe this is common sense which is why I couldn’t find the answer online"

Hello will these work on the UNS Delta 30?: Yes, Delta 30 could use the 1/2” (12MM) valve.
1/2 to 5/8 means I'll need two different hose size, correct? Or does this mean I could use either hose size on both ends?: You will need two different sizes. My OASE Biomaster had 5/8 hoses, but I wanted the lily pipes to be 1/2 size so they weren't too big for the tank. This connector will help you do that.
If I had 120 would I need this? Or does it come with 2? If so what size?: it doesnt matter how big or small the tank u have, this double valve connect helps u easy to separate the hose when u want to clean or low your water flow

I’m new to canister filters. Would I need to order two of these, one for each tube? Need easy maintenance and to control flow rate.: Yes, essentially you would need 2, one to adjust the outflow and the other for the inflow. This is assuming you're choice of filter doesn't already come with an adjustable valve. I would look into it before making your choice.
