"These "quick connects" make tubing and lily-pipe maintenance a breeze! Just swing the shut-off levers to the side, unscrew the knurled central fitting and voila! The lily pipes are detached from the filter and ready for cleaning. Installing the connectors is as easy as cutting the tubing, slipping the tubing onto the connector and twisting the plastic nut outward to clamp the tubing firmly in place."

"In case you didn’t know, as I didn’t, you’ll need a check valve on the tubing as close as you can get it to the diffuser. Even if there’s one on your reactor. Way easier for water to enter the tubing in this setup than with an in tank ceramic diffuser. Maybe this is common sense which is why I couldn’t find the answer online"
