The UNS Micro CO2 Bubble Counter is a detachable bubble counter with a built-in check valve that allows quick monitoring of CO2 output in the planted aquarium. The Micro Bubble Counter is compatible with all Ultum Nature Systems CO2 regulator models.

Why CO2 injection is important in a planted aquarium tank: 3 main factors contribute to the optimal growth of aquatic plants. These factors include nutrients, light and carbon dioxide (CO2). If any of these are unbalanced, the results are algae growth or the withering of aquatic plants. The introduction of CO2 in a planted aquarium tank allows aquatic plants to thrive and grow more efficiently, while also giving them the ability to outcompete algae for nutrients.
