Bucephalandra Sanggau Mini Wavy, sometimes known as Sanggau Green or Buce Sanggau Green Jade, is a small-leafed variety of Bucephalandra native to West Kalimantan, Indonesia. It features small, pointed leaves with a mixture of green tones. When grown in optimal conditions, this tiny Bucephalandra is a true gem, displaying the iridescent quality the species is known for.
Like other Bucephalandra varieties, Sanggau Mini Wavy is a slow grower, gradually forming dense, compact clumps over time. It thrives when attached to porous, natural materials and benefits from CO₂ supplementation, regular maintenance, and good water flow. Dosing a high-quality aquarium plant fertilizer will promote healthier growth and better results. Propagation is simple and can be done by gently separating the main rhizome and reattaching to aquarium driftwood or between cracks in the hardscape layout.
