A simple solution for all of your light hanging needs! BAR by Ultum Nature Systems features a lightweight, rust-resistant stainless steel build and clamps directly onto the aquarium rim. Installation is easy, quick and doesn't require the use of any tools. Alternatively, a flathead screwdriver will do the trick quickly if hand-tightening is not preferred. BAR by UNS can be used as a single bar for puck-style aquarium LED lights or used in tandem, as a pair, for standard pendant-style aquarium LED lighting. Designed specifically for aquarium use, BAR by Ultum Nature Systems offers a clean, simple aesthetic without compromising function and performance.
Adjustment capabilities for light hanging solutions are commonly overlooked. The amount of light as well as intensity over your aquarium will vary depending on the setup and accuracy is important for overall success! Ultum Nature Systems BAR provides the ability to raise or lower the fixture to the desired height, allowing the aquarist to control light intensity and coverage spread to suit specific needs. In addition to height adjustment, the Ultum Nature Systems BAR provides depth placement adjustment capabilities as well.
When aquatic plants are receiving more light than they’re able to utilize for photosynthesis, algae may develop and grow rapidly. The amount of light required for aquatic plant growth directly correlates to the amount of CO2 and fertilizers present in a planted aquarium. Excess lighting on a tank with low CO2 and fertilization is a guaranteed recipe for algae. By raising the light higher, algae growth will be reduced significantly or eradicated while still providing aquatic plants with adequate lighting to photosynthesize.
TIP 2: 2 BAR (a pair) are required for standard hanging aquarium LED light fixtures such as Ultum Nature Systems Titan 1 or Twinstar SP Series LED Lights.

Live plants are shipped Monday - Friday for all west coast orders. For all remaining states, live plants will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday and Friday to ensure they arrive at your doorstep 100% healthy.
Rimless aquariums will be shipped throughout the week via UPS or Fedex Ground. For more information, please visit our FAQ page.
Returns
Hard goods can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of purchase. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to its nature, we are unable to accept returns for live plants. In the unlikely event you are unsatisfied in any way, please contact us ASAP. We provide 100% DOA (Dead On Arrival) protection.
To be eligible for a refund/store credit, please contact us within 12 hours of receiving it and provide a photo of the item in its original packaging.
