READ ME: Our aquarium plants vary in growth forms and will require time to transition to submerged or emersed conditions. We do our best to clean and inspect all plants prior to shipping but do not guarantee them to be snail free unless tissue culture is purchased.
Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.
Live plants are susceptible to stress and damage from transit. - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Bucephalandra Goliath, as its name implies, is arguably one of the largest Buce species more readily available in the aquarium hobby. At first glance, Buce Goliath has unique, attractive foliage. Coupled with its large size, Buce Goliath leaves showcase raised venation, resulting in an exaggerated appearance when compared to other Buce species. Like all Bucephalandra, Bucephalandra Goliath produces bright green tones when given proper care and placed under aquarium LED lighting. Bucephalandra is an epiphytic plant and will sprout new growth from its rhizome.
Bucephalandra does best in low to medium lighting and will grow nice and dense if favorable conditions are provided. CO2 injection along with a good flow and regular tank maintenance will promote quicker, more robust growth. The stem and rhizome should not be covered when planting as this will cause the plant to rot and wither. Care can be comparable to other popular aquatic plant species such as Anubias and Java Ferns, but Bucephalandra will not tolerate sudden changes well.
