Helanthium Vesuvius, previously known as Echinodorus Vesuvius, is a cultured aquatic plant species derived from Helanthium Angustifolia. Helanthium Vesuvius features thin leaves in a soft green hue. Its interesting growth pattern exhibiting a twisting behavior makes this aquatic plant a unique addition to the main aquatic plant family. Helanthium Vesuvius is quite hardy and will grow at a steady pace and pruning on a normal basis is necessary. Just like other rosette species, this particular aquatic plant is beautiful in groups or by itself. Propagation is also fairly simple and can be done by separating via the runners and replanting into a quality aquarium substrate.

"Plant arrived (along with others) looking great. Packaging was excellent, plants looked like they were just taken out of a tank, not bad for a 3,000 mile journey in two days. No melting, on the Vesuvius, very green and healthy in appearance. Its been over 1 week, and it's looking very good, some of the leaves are starting to "twist" a;ready."
"I got multiples of this and they suffered frost I think as I live in a state with extremely erratic temperatures. These swords completely melted but I am seeing something coming up so I hope they will turn around. I think plants that were sent were in good shape this one was just not in good condition on arrival. It’s a sword so I think it will come around with tlc"
