Q&A

Will this dimmer fit/work with the LED tank lid that comes with the TOP FIN 40 gallon starter kit. There is only an off/on switch for this light. Much too bright with no way to dim.: unless the top fin tank lid is wired to accommodate the addition of a male and female connector on the cord, it will not work, as the dimmer relies on these connectors for installation. my dimmer attaches to a twinstar light, which is engineered to accommodate the dimmer. regarding the functionality of the dimmer itself, three tiny buttons make it easy to activate an unintended setting. light dimming, and light flashing, can get inadvertently mixed up, so it’s good to know the bottom button resets the fixture to off.
Will this fit a twinstar 1200?: I’m assuming the 1200 is a S-series light? If so yes it will fit 5.5mm x 2.5mm
