The Ultum Nature Systems Peninsula Reef System offers a reef-ready foundation for your next saltwater aquarium. Designed for performance and modern aesthetic, the system is available in three sizes and two stand colors. All systems feature ultra-clear glass tanks, black silicone and signature 45° mitered edges. The included aluminum stand arrives fully assembled with a built-in sump and pre-glued plumbing for quick and convenient setup. Place the tank, connect the pipes using twist-on unions, and you’re ready to go.

Its strong magnetic doors are fully removable, providing wide access for equipment organization, wire management and routine tasks. A built-in storage drawer, dedicated chiller space and integrated controller box with surge protection offer a clean, organized solution for essential reef gear. On the drawer side, you’ll notice three purposefully placed holes that make it easy to run cords neatly across the entire length of the system—especially helpful if your power outlet is on the opposite end, preventing messy, dangling wires. Included controller boards are removable and accessible. Durable polycarbonate lids are resistant to warping and help reduce salt creep.

The peninsula system’s overflow box features a slim profile with intake slots at the top and bottom, plus a built-in glass guard to help prevent flooding in the event of pump failure. For water control, gate valves ensure smooth operation and reduced noise, while a ball valve and barbed fittings on the return line make external accessory connection simple. A gasket beneath the drain pipe and sump connection further reduces salt creep build-up.

Inside the multi-chamber sump, a prefilter baffle captures large debris, extending the life of filter socks, while diffuser plates muffle sound and keep them in place. The second chamber is designed to fit various protein skimmers and the third chamber offers flexibility for additional media or use as a refugium, all with adjustable water levels. Finally, an acrylic ATO with a pre-installed float valve makes automatic top-offs seamless.
