Coastal Ridge
Coastal Ridge is a simple Iwagumi aquascape in the Ultum Nature Systems 60S shallow aquarium. Inspired by natural coastal landscapes we saw during travels, several pieces of Goliath Stone were placed strategically on an elevated substrate slope to create more depth, character, and perspective within the shorter height of the tank.
Drawing from the look and feel of coastal tide pools, the 60S shallow format provides an ideal foundation for this layout style. The open space and lower profile help emphasize the stone composition while putting a spotlight on scale.
