Ryuboku
Ryuboku is a hybrid paludarium style planted tank in the Ultum Nature Systems 75S shallow rimless aquarium. A revamp of our original aquascape, Rainforest Mist, this layout places heavy emphasis on Malaysian Driftwood, with several pieces extending far above the waterline for an exaggerated effect.
A mix of aquatic and terrestrial plants was used to showcase the transition from submerged to emersed growth. To support the variety of ferns and terrestrial species, we installed the Ultum Nature Systems Atomizer mist make and the UNS Nimbus misting system. This combo provides consistent humidity and moisture to the upper portions of the planted tank. As the setup matures, the plants rotate and we enjoy trying to grow out various plants in this aquascape!
