Dr. Tank's Snail Remover tablets aim to drastically reduce pest snail populations in freshwater tanks and planted aquariums. Snail Remover tabs are formulated without copper to ensure the safety of common fish and shrimp that cannot withstand traces of it within the water. Pest snail infestations can be difficult to deal with and unappealing to look at and Dr. Tank Snail Remover reduces up to 90% of existing snails within 72 hours when used according to instructions.

Use of Dr. Tank Snail Remover alone will not fully cure or prevent pest snails from appearing. Pond snails and other types of commonly found pest snails are a natural part of the aquarium hobby. When good cleaning habits are implemented, snail populations are kept to a minimum and are not usually cause for concern. Skyrocketing populations are typically due to an excess of nutrition available in the aquarium as snails will forage on nearly anything from left over food to waste and decaying matter. Using Dr. Tank Snail Remover in combination with routine maintenance is highly recommended!
