Spring Bloom is a nature-style planted aquarium in the Ultum Nature Systems 90L 20-gallon long rimless tank. Following our previous Hakkai Stone Iwagumi layout, River’s Edge, this is the second aquascape to occupy the exact same aquarium. We swapped out the rock-only composition for an exclusive Malaysian Driftwood layout and introduced a vibrant mix of colorful aquatic plants in place of the minimalist planting typically seen in Iwagumi aquascaping.

This tank excludes stonework entirely — not even for structural support. The result relies purely on the organic flow of driftwood and the textural contrast created by a diverse plant palette. It serves as a great example of the versatility of long rimless aquariums and the dramatically different styles that can be created within the same glass canvas.
